This is an aerial view of Baviaanspoort Prison, a place where some JTK 200 students devote their time to helping the inmates and at the same time taking advantage of not being in class.
At first the thought of going to a prison was scary as I had heard so much from random people and obviously what I saw on the television.
Going there has changed a lot of the stereotypes I had come across and has been such a wonderful experience.
This is only the beginning and there is still so much to be learnt and achieved as the project continues. I have never been so excited to do something. Waking up in the morning is sometimes an issue but knowing that there are people waiting to learn something from you makes it worth while.
